15 Royalty Free Stock Image Sites

There are many reasons why you, a business owner, would need stock images. The most obvious is, you just don’t have the time to put together a photo session for your products or services, and you need those images for your website, blog and social media accounts.

This post contains affiliate links.

You think you can Google search the images you need and use what you find, but that is actually a bit illegal. Thankfully there are plenty of royalty free stock image websites for you to choose from!

Of course if you do sell products, you clearly need images of those products. Whether it’s with your cell phone, a DSLR, or if you sell print on demand products, you might be grabbing the images that your POD company already uses. Which is completely fine. It is a good idea to occasionally hire a professional to take those images for you. If you are in my area, Central Illinois, I do provide this service! You are more than welcome to contact me for more information!

What Does Royalty Free Mean?

The short answer is that you, the public, have the rights to use a royalty free image without having to pay or sign anything. There are platforms out there that have subscriptions to use their stock images. But typically those subscription prices are going towards that fee to use the stock image.

That’s why it is extremely important to stay away from using any images you find on Google image search because you very well could be grabbing an image that you don’t have the rights to use and could potentially get into trouble.

Here are 15 websites where you can get just about any image you can think of, for free!
